The Lantern Award application asks you to tell your story. What you are proud of and what you do well is the story ENA wants to hear.
Prior to starting the application, you are strongly encouraged to review the "Application Assistance" documents below; particularly the Lantern Coaching Guide.
- This coaching document has been developed to help appraise your facility's readiness by guiding your thoughts as you identify how best to demonstrate your emergency department’s achievements within the application.
- Each section of the Lantern Award application is presented with background information and describes what is required in each question's response to assist your team in a successful journey to achieve the Lantern Award.
After reviewing the Coaching Guide, begin your application by clicking on the purple "REGISTER" button in the upper right corner of this page.
- Enter your information - Do not register using the Facebook, Twitter or Google links.
- Click the "Create Account" button.
- You will receive an email asking you to verify your email address.
- If you do not receive an email within one minute, please check your spam or junk folder.
- Confirm your email address.
- Log in and
- begin your application by clicking on the "Apply" button.
- All information is saved automatically and continuously.
- You may return to the application as many times as needed.
Application fee: $3,000 for all hospitals
Payment may be made prior to, during, or after completing the application.
Payment may be made via credit card, check or electronic transfer. All payments are due by March 31, 2025.
